  • How to Apply for Financial Aid - The federal on-line processes make applying for financial aid easier and faster than ever. The process begins with the FAFSA application, but it doesn't end there. Charles and Sue's School of Hair Design has put together the linked web page to walk you through the entire process step-by-step and to answer all of your questions.
  • Rights and Responsibilities of Aid Applicants - As a recipient of federal financial aid, students have certain rights and responsibilities they should exercise. Knowing them will put you in a better position to make decisions about your educational goals and how to achieve them.
  • Cost of Attendance and Net Price Calculator - A student's federal financial aid eligibility is determined based upon several different factors, including the "Cost of Attendance" (COA) for your program of study. The COA can also be useful as guide to help students and families plan for costs beyond just the tuition and fees. The College also provides an on-line Net Price Calculator, which is designed to provide first-time college students with a general estimate of their first-year costs and the financial assistance they might receive to meet those costs.
  • Federal Student Aid Programs - Federal financial aid includes a number of different federal grant and loan programs, including loans for parents as well as students. Not everyone will qualify for every program, so it is important to learn more about the specifics of each program.
  • Other Aid Programs - There are sometimes other programs from various agencies to assist students in funding their education. Learn more about these programs and whether you might qualify.
  • Payment Plan and Private Student Loans - Beyond the financial aid programs, there are options for a payment plan and other forms of financing. These are useful for those who may have a gap remaining between their financial aid and the cost of attending.
  • Special or Unusual Financial Circumstances - The Financial Aid Office at Charles and Sue's School of Hair Design understands that life is filled with unexpected twists and turns. That's why we are committed to supporting you every step of your educational journey.
  • Student Loan Application Process and Requirements - The process of applying for a Federal Student Loan or Federal Parent Loan can seem complicated, especially if you've never done it before. So, we have set up detailed instructions for the student loan/parent loan application processes to guide along the way.
  • Withdrawal and Tuition Refund Policies - We hope that every student will graduate successfully, but we know that sometimes it becomes necessary to withdraw. Withdrawal before graduation can have serious financial implications, so it is always best to know your options.
  • Return to Title IV (R2T4) Policy - If a student withdraws without completing the program, the federal government may require us to return all or part of the student's financial aid in a process known as Return to Title IV (R2T4).
  • Financial Aid Office Code of Ethics - This page contains Charles and Sue's School of Hair Design's professional Code of Ethics relating to the administration of financial aid.
  • Income Tax Credits for Education - Paying for an education beyond high school can be a challenge and we want you to take every advantage accessible to you for the financial commitment you have made. The federal government offers several income tax benefits for education costs. These are available to students and parents who paid tuition at a post-secondary school in the tax year, subject to IRS rules.
  • Financial Skills, Budgeting, and Credit - Enrolling at Charles and Sue's School of Hair Design was your first step towards achieving your goals. The education you will receive in class is specific to your program however, it is very important to also provide you with additional life skills you will utilize outside of the classroom, such as financial skills, budgeting, and credit management.
